Annual Pilgrimage and Picnic for the Support of the Monastery & Franciscans
Slovenian Catholic Mission Picnic Grounds 14246 Main Street Lemont, IL 60439 This is the last picnic of the summer season. Come to enjoy the day and remember the easy, lazy days of summer with one more day of fun!! This event had historically been a reunion of sorts for lodges in the Chicagoland area. The day starts at 11:00 am with the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass) and singing Litanies to Mary with responses and hymns at the Lourdes grotto. There will be monastery honey available…

St. Joe's Lodge #2 will hold a meeting on September 17, 2023, at the St. Joe's Park Legion Hall followed by a wine and cheese tasting event. This event will be joined by St. Francis Lodge #29. Everyone attending will bring a bottle of their favorite wine for tasting, and the lodges will provide the cheese and other snacks.

Joliet Area Historical Grape Harvest Festival-Joliet, IL
The Slovenian Grape Harvest Festival is a cultural heritage celebration. Hundreds will gather to enjoy the food, music, and culture of Slovenia. Mass is at 11:30am at St. Joseph Park Grotto. The event starts at 1pm at the Rival's Park picnic grounds.

Conduct Annual Meeting to conduct normal business as well as year end business. Additionally, the lodge will conduct nominations of officers for 2024. Subsequent to nominations, elections will be held, and new 2024 officers will be installed. The Lodge Person of the Year will be recognized.
