This is the last picnic of the summer season. Come to enjoy the day and remember the easy, lazy days of summer with one more day of fun!!
This event had historically been a reunion of sorts for lodges in the Chicagoland area. The day starts at 11:00 am with the celebration of the Eucharist (Mass) and singing Litanies to Mary with responses and hymns at the Lourdes grotto.
- There will be monastery honey available for sale (The best in the area!!)
Homemade bakery for sale - Slovenska Mladinska Skupina Marela will dance for your enjoyment at about 1:30 pm in the pavilion.
- Waterslide & the playground still needs to be given a workout by the kids! Bring your swimsuit and towels for a slippery good time!
- Plenty of Food and Drink
- Chicken, Klobase, Hot Dogs, and more
- Cold beer and plenty of drink options
- Live Music and dancing in the pavilion
- Raffle tickets — $2 ea for a top prize of $500
